The Vivo Y17s, a new Y-series phone, has been quietly released in Singapore by Vivo. It is an entry-level device with a 50-megapixel dual-camera system on the back and a teardrop notch display on the front. It has a large battery and a MediaTek chip. A 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel with a 720 x 1612 HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, an 83 percent NTSC color gamut, 840 nits of brightness, and a 269 ppi pixel density is found within the Vivo Y17s. The Y17s has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera on the back.
The MediaTek Helio G85 CPU, 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage are all included in the Vivo Y17s. The gadget has a separate microSD card slot for increased storage. The phone is powered by FunTouch OS 13 on top of Android 13.
A 5,000mAh battery inside the Y17s enables 15W charging. YouTube video playback is expected to last 19.67 hours on the large battery. Other features include a USB-C connector, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual SIM, and an IP54-rated casing.
