Nokia unveiled the G42 5G smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC in India last month. The phone came in two color options at launch, So Purple and So Grey. Last month, the company also hinted about a So Pink shade. Now, the company intends to release this color option with more RAM and storage.
As per a new teaser, the Nokia G42 5G So Pink color will be launching soon with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is worth noting that Nokia has put an asterisk at 16GB, which reads 8GB RAM + 8GB virtual RAM. Currently, the phone is available in a single 6GB + 128GB configuration (Amazon).

The 6.56-inch LCD screen of the Nokia G42 5G has a dewdrop notch and a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+), and it is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display also offers a peak brightness level of 450 nits and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus CPU. Notably, 65% of the plastic used to build the rear panel was recycled.
A 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor make up the triple camera system on the back of the Nokia G42 5G, which is a smartphone with excellent photographic capabilities. There is an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls. A USB Type-C connector, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and 5G compatibility are available as connectivity choices. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, a MicroSD card slot for extra storage, and a 3.5mm headphone port.
