On November 6, MediaTek plans to release its next top smartphone chipset. The exact moniker of the chip is yet unknown, however it is most likely going to be the Dimensity 9300, replacing the Dimensity 9200 from the previous year. AnTuTu and Geekbench, two benchmarking sites, have featured the D9300, demonstrating its high performance potential.
Dimensity 9300 specifications (rumored)
The Dimensity 9300’s technical specifications have not yet been released by MediaTek. According to reports, the processor would only contain performance cores, meaning it won’t be efficient. The chip’s AnTuTu listing showed that it had an Immortalis G720 MC12 GPU, four big Cortex A720 cores, and four Cortex X4 cores. It will include support for LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, just like the D9200.
With the D9300 processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, 120Hz refresh rate display, and Android 14, the test device appeared on AnTuTu and scored 2,055,084 points, the best score ever on the benchmarking site. In all, the gadget received scores of 485,064, 899,463, 357,691, and 312,866 points in the CPU, GPU, RAM, and UX tests.
The third week of November is when Vivo is reportedly going to reveal the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones. The X100 Pro+, which will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, is another model in the X100 family. It is anticipated that this gadget will be released in 2024’s first quarter.
An Oppo smartphone bearing the model number PHZ110 was recently discovered in the Geekbench database. The D9300-powered gadget was observed running Android 14 and sporting 16 GB of RAM. It received 2139 and 7110 points in Geekbench 6’s single- and multi-core tests, respectively. According to rumors, the PHZ110 will make its public debut under the Oppo Find X7 moniker in Q1 2024.
