A few improvements are coming to Google Play Games for PC to increase its player appeal. On Monday, October 23, the corporation published a blog post announcing the changes.
Support for 4K resolutions is the most noticeable modification. On displays that are compatible, users may now increase the resolution to 4K, enabling them to play their favorite mobile games in breathtaking detail on their PC. In a game, just press Shift + Tab to activate 4K resolution, then choose your preferred resolution from the selection.
Additionally, Google has expanded support for controllers, including compatibility for the DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5, the DualShock controller for the PlayStation 4, and the controllers for the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. This is on top of the support already provided for other well-liked gamepads like the Xbox Adaptive Controller.
Apart from the recently added capabilities, Google has also simplified the process of searching for games on the platform. You can now easily discover the game you’re searching for in the All Games area thanks to the addition of a search bar at the top. Clash of Clans and Clash Royale are two more well-known games that Google has added to the collection.
