The eagerly awaited 15-inch MacBook Air was officially unveiled by Apple a few days ago at WWDC 2023. The smartphone is now finally on sale through selected stores and Apple’s official website.
The 15-inch MacBook Air is priced starting at $1,299, although students and educators are eligible for a $100 discount. There are four color choices for the laptop: Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Space Gray.
In comparison to the 13-inch model, the recently released 15-inch MacBook Air provides a number of improvements, including a larger 15.3-inch Liquid Retina Display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500nits. Since the display has True Tone enabled, the white balance will be automatically adjusted to match the ambient light.
The Apple M2 processor, which is a major improvement over the M1 chip and provides a speedier CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine, powers the device from the inside out. The new chipset, according to the manufacturer, is up to 18% faster than the M1 processor.
A FaceTime HD camera and a six-speaker audio system are also included. This variant has a flat-edge chassis and, like the previous models, has a notch above the display. The computer’s memory configuration options include up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of internal storage.
