Opera has released Opera One, a new iteration of their web browser. Aria, an AI-powered chatbot, is a significant update to the software.
The Aria chatbot is located in the browser’s sidebar and functions similarly to the Bing chatbot in Microsoft Edge in that it can provide suggestions and real-time information in response to questions.
Along with the AI-powered chatbot Aria, the browser now has a new appearance and feel, as well as a few additional features that are intended to make browsing more simple and effective.
It has a function called Tab Islands, a novel method of classifying tabs into groupings that are connected to one another. Users may swiftly transition between separate Tab Islands they have created for work, personal, etc.
The OpenAI GPT technology, which also powers Bing from Microsoft, enables the Aria chatbot to perform web searches, compose text, and write code. If they don’t already have one, users must create an Opera account in order to utilize the tool.
The web browser has a built-in VPN, a battery-saving mode, and other features. It is constructed using the company’s new Modular Design foundation, which is said to enable more flexibility and customization.
The company started testing this new Opera One web browser last month but now it is available for everyone. It is now available to download for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
