With the introduction of the Kilow Gravel bike, French e-mobility company Kilow has joined the electric cycling market. The carbon fiber frame of the Kilow Gravel is powered by a Bikedrive Air motor. With its lightweight EVs, Kilow has carved out a place for itself in the electric vehicle industry. The 2023 Roc d’Azur will feature a presentation of the Kilow Gravel electric bicycle.
Features
The lightweight, streamlined, and minimalistic design of Kilow electric automobiles serves as the basis for the Kilow Gravel. A tough dirt bike called the Kilow dirt was created. It has great on-the-go mobility, making it simple to ride across rough terrain. The new electric bicycle from Kilow is as adaptable as they come. An e-mobility option for usage both within and outside of cities is the Gravel. According to Kilow’s marketing director, Arthur Allamand, the Gravel provides an option to the city’s periphery’s virtually nonexistent public transportation. This is the rationale for Kilow’s decision to enter the market with a gravel e-bike.
The carbon fiber frame of the Kilow Gravel houses the Bikedrive Air motor. The Bikedrive Air provides smoothness and a comfortable pedal feel but lacks torque and power. It has a constant power output of 250W and a maximum torque of 40Nm. The Gravel has three pedal aid settings, which may be switched between using the toptube console. The battery, which provides up to 50km of assistance range on a full charge, is housed in the downtube of the Gravel frame. The bike sports Hutchinson Touareg tires and a 12-speed Sram Force AXS transmission with capability for electronic shifting.
